QazPost and Alatau City Bank Sign Memorandum of Cooperation to Develop Digital and Financial Services

“QazPost” JSC and “Alatau City Bank” JSC have signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation aimed at fostering a long-term and mutually beneficial partnership in the areas of digital solutions, e-commerce, logistics, and enhancing the accessibility of financial services for the population of Kazakhstan.

The signing of the Memorandum confirms the parties’ intention to combine their expertise and infrastructure capabilities to implement joint projects that will contribute to the development of modern services for citizens and businesses throughout the country.

As part of the cooperation, the parties plan to collaborate in several key areas, including:

• development of Kazakhstan’s transport and logistics infrastructure;
• implementation of projects in the fields of e-commerce and digital solutions;
• exchange of experience, knowledge, and best practices;
• development of agency and digital services to improve access to financial services in the regions of the country.

Leveraging QazPost’s extensive branch network and Alatau City Bank’s digital expertise, the parties intend to explore opportunities for creating new services that will enable residents of regional areas to access financial and postal-logistics services in a more convenient manner.

The signed Memorandum reflects the parties’ strategic commitment to developing innovative solutions and expanding public access to modern financial and logistics services. The parties note that the Memorandum is of a framework nature and sets out the principal areas of cooperation. The implementation of specific projects will be carried out under separate agreements in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
