Alatau City Bank Repays KZT 50 Billion in State Support Ahead of Schedule

Almaty, September 5, 2025 – “Alatau City Bank” Joint Stock Company (hereinafter – the Bank) announces the partial early repayment of state support in the amount of KZT 50 billion.

In accordance with the resolution of the Board of Directors dated August 29, 2025, the Bank repurchased two issues of its bonds: KZT 30 billion and KZT 20 billion. The maturity dates of these bonds are in 2040 and 2034, respectively. The decision on the early repayment of state support was made at the initiative of the Bank’s new shareholder, Mr. Vyacheslav Kim.

The Bank’s stable financial position, sufficient level of capitalization, and strong performance results have enabled us to take this voluntary step towards the state. The Bank intends to continue being a reliable partner of the government, actively participate in financing the country’s economy, and increase the availability of financial services for a wide range of our clients,” – commented Mr. Kuat Kozhakhmetov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alatau City Bank.

It should be noted that the Bank made its first partial early repayment of state support in April 2024.
