Alatau City Bank has become the first in Kazakhstan to offer clients commercial discount notes

Alatau City Bank became the first issuer to register a commercial paper program on the Astana International Exchange (the Exchange of the Astana International Financial Centre).

The placed tranches are discount commercial papers with maturities of 6 and 12 months, each with a volume of 100 million US dollars. The papers are admitted to trading and included in the official listing of AIX.
The nominal value of one paper is 10 thousand US dollars, with a yield to maturity of up to 4% per annum inclusive.

The listing of commercial papers on AIX provides investors with access to a reliable short-term instrument with transparent market conditions and contributes to the development of the corporate debt securities market in Kazakhstan.

For clients, the acquisition of these financial instruments allows them to receive stable, fixed income in US dollars, which does not depend on fluctuations in the foreign exchange market.
