Changes to the Composition of the Management Board of Alatau City Bank JSC
Almaty, 1 July 2026 – Alatau City Bank JSC (the Bank) announces that Gulmira Jumadillayeva, Chairperson of the Management Board, has decided to step down from her position at her own initiative. She has served as Chairperson of the Management Board since April 2024.
Ms. Jumadillayeva will continue serving as a member of the Bank's Board of Directors, to which she was appointed in September 2024.
Kuat Kozhakhmetov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Alatau City Bank JSC, commented on Ms. Jumadillayeva's achievements as Head of the Bank:
"Gulmira Janibekovna has made a significant contribution to the Bank's development. Owing to her professionalism, managerial experience, and leadership, the Bank successfully implemented initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, expanding its digital services, and enhancing its product offering. Under her leadership, the Bank renewed its strategy, completed a rebranding that reflects the beginning of a new stage in the institution's development, and entered the digital assets market. As a member of the Board of Directors, she will continue to play an active role in the Bank's strategic governance and contribute to its sustainable development."
Pursuant to a resolution of the Board of Directors, Anuar Kuandykov has been appointed as the new Chairperson of the Management Board, effective 1 July 2026. Since 2020, Mr. Kuandykov has served as the Bank's Managing Director, overseeing the development of its analytical function.
Commenting on the appointment, the Chairman of the Board of Directors stated:
"The Board of Directors is confident that Anuar Kuandykov's extensive professional experience, profound expertise in the financial sector, and strong management capabilities will support the Bank's continued growth, enhance its competitiveness, and further strengthen its market position. We wish the new Head of the Bank every success in achieving these important objectives."
Mr. Kuandykov has 18 years of experience in the financial sector. He began his professional career with the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2008, where he advanced from Specialist to Director of the Balance of Payments and Foreign Exchange Regulation Department. He also served as Deputy Chairman of the Kazakhstan Deposit Insurance Fund. Since October 2025, he has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Optima Bank OJSC (Kyrgyz Republic).
